WebI have taken all of Prof Fears courses and indeed he is a master storyteller! But this course (2009), at the end of his lecturing career, was just too preachy for me. If you want to enjoy and learn from this great prof, I suggest (2001) Famous Greeks & Famous Romans, or perhaps (2005) Books that have made history, books that can change your life. WebGnosticism: From Nag Hammadi to the Gospel of Judas with David Brakke is my all-time favorite. It is just interesting af and I’ve listened to/watched it like five times. Big History: The Big Bang, Life on Earth, and the Rise of Humanity with David Christian is probably my next favorite, as it is basically a sweeping overview of everything.
